Water Works Park was quite easy to find as it was just right off the loop in Denton, Tx. When we arrived, it was busy and the parking lot was packed and took about 5 minutes to find a parking space. Being packed thee were no spaces available when we arrived, but due to arriving around 2pm, the early risers were in the process of leaving so it didn’t take an exhausting amount of work to find a space. Parking was free and Water Works Park also has free wifi. They also have lockers you can rent out for a small fee.
Overall the park was somewhat small; however with an affordable entry fee, it’s the perfect place to go to on the weekend to cool off in the Texas heat. There was the play pool with playground in the middle, hooked up so water was spraying everywhere. There was a lazy river in which you could relax on tubes. There are several slides which were a lot of fun, my favorite being the Big Kahuna. You can find more information and pictures here.
