Introspection + Equilibrium: Released August 5th!

Introspection + Equilibrium is my second book of poetry to be published through Amazon. It has already been three years since I published my last book and I honestly didn’t think it would take me this long to finally release my second book. I suppose the combination of life and procrastination got in the way; however, I was determined to publish my next book this year so I’ve really dedicated my free time this last month to sitting down and writing.

Description: Introspection + Equilibrium is Jessica Fuqua’s second poetry collection which takes you on a journey of pain and hope featuring themes both spiritual in form (the things you cannot see) and the natural world (which can be seen.)

Introspection + Equilibrium contains 26 poems in the following 5 forms: haiku, triolet, acrostic, haiku+acrostic, and free form. My favorite poem out of the entire collection is Wings (Acrostic).

Wearily little sparks of life flutter

Into the great abyss – chasing away

Nightmare’s frozen

Grasp on our dreams

Shattering fear.
